Start a Transition Streets group with your neighbours

One of the highlights at our 2014 AGM was a presentation by Catherine Ross about Transition Streets, part of the not-for-profit charity Transition St Albans.

Groups of neighbours can register to join or form a small group in the project (http://transitionstalbans.org/transition-streets/register-your-interest-in-streets/). They then receive an information pack and commit to getting together seven times over six months to investigate ways of saving energy and carbon emissions and to help each other to make progress in saving both money and the environment.
